Hoi An town is packed with picturesque historical house, pagodas and street-side cafes. It’s popular for buying tailor. Hoi An ancient town is a famous Southeast Asian trading port dating from the 15th century to the 19th century. Its house and street reflect the influences, both Vietnamese and foreign especial Japanese and Chinese, that have combined to built this beautiful town.
Hoi An has no airport, and no railway station either. The only way to get there is by road. You can hire a taxi from Hue to Hoi An or private cars transfer to Hoi An from Da Nang city, which does have an airport with daily flights from Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and other Vietnamese cities.
There’s also a railway station in Da Nang city, and car transfer services, bus transfer are plentiful.
