- Elephant Spring (15 USD surcharge – please request on the booking form): consists of a number of natural pools with clear and cool water, scattered by huge boulders. With some imagination, you can find a rock, which looks like an elephant, giving the springs’ name.
- Lap An lagoon: Hue’s 22,000 hectares Tam Giang lagoon stretches from the far North of the province to the border with Danang about 125 km down South. Lap An is an 800 ha section of this lagoon, located West of Lang Co town. The brackish water is the natural habitat for many animals and aquatic plants, and one of the key activities in that section is oyster farming.
- Lang Co bay: at the foot of the Hai Van pass which is the border between Thua Thien Hue province and Da Nang. It is close to the prime forest area of Bach Ma national park. The large area in-between Lang Co town and the beach 15 km to the East is stunning for its unspoiled beauty and ecology. At the end of the ride is Lang Co beach, voted one of the most beautiful bays in the world (World bays).
- Hai Van pass: The railway line over the Hai Van passes into Danang, built by the French, has been featured as one of the 20 best train rides in the world. I contacted the company to help customize two routes with them. They gave me a time and cash saving route from Hue to our hotel in Hoi An with a stop at Marble Mountains. David, our driver, was fantastic. He spoke some English and was a good conversationalist. I could tell that he drove the Hai Van Pass a lot as he seemed to know every corner and turn before it came up. We got to our hotel safely, timely, and I couldn’t ask for a better driver/photographer/guide in David.
Despite last minute arrangement to go to Hue from Hoi An on 27/4, the company managed to arrange for private car transfer within 15-20 minutes. And we were so happy that we had Mr Gon as our driver. He can speak english fluently and was very friendly. The journey went well and smooth. We had fantastic trip! Honestly, we haven’t find any driver as friendly as him!! In future, if I go back to Hoi An/Hue…with no doubt i would like to have his service again.

I had an excellent experience using Hura Cars from Hue to Da Nang. I booked the night before I left. I literally received a reply back in 30 seconds. AMAZING. Then, I got the detail of the trip in an email and the invoice after, all done in LESS than 10 minutes. Then the next day, the driver, Thanh, who approached us with a smile arrived 15 minutes EARLY, which is unlike our other experiences in Vietnam. NOTE also, he did not try to rush us. He introduced himself to us and gave us an overview of what we can expect as far as stops and how long the trip will take. He helped us with out luggages and as polite as can be. On our way to Da Nang, he talked to us and I felt safe the entire ride. He did not overspeed and most of all he did not honk his horn incessantly. I cannot say the same about the rides I have taken prior to this. I would give this guy 5 of 5 rating, just him alone and the company 5 of 5. I arrived at my destination safely, smiling and ready to explore the rest of Vietnam.
