Upon your arrival at Chan May Sea Port in Hue City, our friendly driver will greet you and start Shore Excursion from Chan May port to Hoi An

Arriving in Da Nang City, one of the most vibrant cities in Vietnam, we will make a stop to explore the Marble Mountains. This cluster of five limestone hills, named after the elements metal, wood, water, fire, and earth, is located in a coastal area renowned for its stone-cutting and sculpture.

Lunch in Hoi An

After our visit to Marble Mountain, we will head to Hoi An ancient town, where you will enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. (see suggest in Travel Guide tab)

Explore Hoi An Ancient Town

In the afternoon, you will have free time to explore the charming streets of Hoi An. Highlights include the iconic Japanese Bridge, the historic old houses of Tan Ky, the Assembly Hall of Phuc Kien, various museums, old pagodas, and the bustling Hoi An local market. Hoi An is a shopper’s paradise, offering a variety of markets where you can find tailor-made clothing, leather goods, silk, small souvenir statues, and beautifully crafted lanterns.

Return to Chan May Port

Distance from Hoi An to Chan May port via Hai Van tunnel about 70 km (44 miles) , we will begin our return journey to Chan May Port, ensuring you arrive back at your ship with time to spare.

You might want to spend your evening getting custom clothes tailored, relaxing in a riverside cafe, or simply wandering the lantern-lit streets—all of which are completely free.

Much of the Old Town is free to explore. If you prefer to simply soak in the atmosphere, take photos, or enjoy local street food, you can do so without spending an extra dime. If you decide you do want to enter the specific heritage sites that require a paid ticket for preservation (such as the Japanese Bridge or old merchant houses), you have the freedom to purchase a ticket upon arrival. You only pay for exactly what you choose to see.

• Cost Savings: We keep your upfront tour costs down by not charging you for a ticket you might not use.
• Complete Flexibility: While specific heritage sites (like the Japanese Covered Bridge, Tấn Ký, Old House Phùng Hưng, Old House Quân Thắng…) require an entrance fee for preservation, exploring the streets of the Old Town is entirely free.
• Your Choice: You have the freedom to simply wander the lantern-lit streets, relax in a coffee shop, or purchase a ticket locally if you decide you want to go inside the historical sites.

• Currency: Due to new laws, foreign currency exchange (including USD) is no longer permitted. Local businesses only accept Vietnamese Dong (VND) or online payments.
• Daily Expenses: Street food vendors and local grocery stores do not accept credit cards, so you will need VND on hand.
• Trip Payments: You can pay your full tour balance online, or pay a 30% online deposit with the remaining balance paid in VND.
• ATMs: Your driver will be happy to stop at an ATM for you to withdraw cash for meals and other purchases.

Shopping in Hoi An

• Hoi An is famous for its tailors and many shops in the Old Town. They can make a suit in under 2 hours, but our Shore Excursion tour is very short, you should choose ready-made clothes to avoid being late returning to the clouds.

Why choose pick-up inside and outside of the seaport?

• Pick-up inside of the sear port: Our car will park near the cruise to wait for you, and it is easy to see him. But you have to pay more 25$ per person for the borderlands security, and you should Book in advance (2-3 working days) that we need to register and have time to do all of the traveler formalities.
• Pick-up outside of the seaport: Our driver waits for you at the Main gate of Chan May Port (500m from your Cruise) with your name on a welcome board, it is easy to find him with the green shirt. And of course, you save 25$ per person.
