The journey to your hotel in Phong Nhawill take approximately 6 to 7 hours, allowing you to enjoy the scenic views and comfortable ride along the way. We recommend we start in the morning then we have more time for each site

In the morning, the driver will come to collect you from your hotel located in the center of Hue.

• Visiting La Vang Holly Land in Quang Tri

La Vang Holy Land is a significant pilgrimage site for Vietnamese Catholics, located in Quang Tri Province. The site is named after a vision of the Virgin Mary that was reported in 1798. Despite its destruction during the Vietnam War, the site continues to hold spiritual significance and is a place of sanctuary and prayer. Whether you are religious or not, the serene atmosphere and historical significance make it a worthwhile stop.

• Visiting Hien Luong bridge – Ben Hai river

Hien Luong Bridge is located right on the 17th parallel, crossing the Ben Hai River. During the 21 years of the Vietnam War, from 1954 to 1975, Hien Luong Bridge became a “symbol” of the North-South division and the nation’s struggle for national reunification. In addition, you will visit the Museum of the 17th Parallel and Aspiration of Unification and the Hien Luong flagpole.

• Visiting Vinh Moc tunnels

Vinh Moc tunnel is about 2 kilometers long and divided into 3 deep levels. Built for people to live and avoid bombs, even though it’s hidden deep underground, it’s full of works: a water well, rice warehouse, Hoang Cam kitchen, guard station, telephone station, operating room, maternity wards, and a hall used for meetings, art performances, and watching movies.

OPTION 2: DIRECT TRANSFER HUE TO PHONG NHA KE BANG

It takes about 4 hours to drive. Our driver will pick you up at your hotel, and we will go directly from Hue to Phong Nha. If you don’t have time for a scenic trip and to visit the Demilitarized Zone, a direct transfer by Hue private car is the best option.

If you arrive early in the morning or late at night and need a place to stop for breakfast or dinner, don’t hesitate to ask our driver.
