Bach ma national park is a land of two types of forest: sub-tropical and tropical evergreen monsoon forest below 900m. It’s known for beautiful Do Quyen waterfalls, narrow trails, and decaying French villas, the wildlife includes s black bears, leopards as well as wild pigs and deer.

DETAIL ITINERARY

8:00 am: the driver will pick you up at the hotel and begin your day trip to Bach Ma National Park.

On the way, we stop at the lagoon to take some pictures and learn about the real-life local fishing village in Cau Hai Lagoon. After that, we continue the tour to explore the Bach Ma museum at the foot of the mountain.

We buy tickets to entrance Bach Ma national park with cost 40000 vnd. Continue transport to the zero KM at Vong Hai Dai (Observer tower) to see an overview of Bach Ma view, Tam Giang lagoon, and Truc Lam Zen meditation.

Driving 17 km to the top of the mountain, we see the beauty of the national park or if we’re lucky, we can see a Pygathrix nemaeus – The red-shanked douc is a species of monkey; this monkey is known as the costumed ape for its extravagant appearance.

After that, you trek to Hai Vong Dai – (Hai means Ocean, Vong means Seeing, Dai means small tower), from here you can see Cau Hai lagoon, Phu Loc town, and majestic Truong Son Mountain.

Continue trekking from Hai Vong Dai to five lakes. You can swim in fresh cold water.

After that, you continue trekking to Do Quyen waterfall 300m high waterfall of the national park. From the top of the waterfall, we see the green forest and covering of bach ma national park. Especially, you should get to the foot of Do Quyen waterfall bypassing 900 steps.

At 3:00 p.m: Finish Bach Ma national park tour and return to Hue city
