Today, it serves as a poignant reminder of the conflict and is a popular destination for those interested in war history)

- Visiting Vinh Moc tunnel:
A highly impressive Vinh Moc tunnel is the remains of a Vietnamese village that literally went underground in response to an ongoing war bombing. This tunnel capacity has more than 90 families, they disappeared into 3 levels of Vinh Moc tunnels running for 2 km. They lived and worked while bombs rained down. Most of the tunnels are opened for visiting and kept in their original form (except for electric lights and human statues, a recent addition).
- Visit Hien Luong Bridge – Ben Hai River:
According to the Geneva Agreement in 1954, Viet Nam was divided into two parts and Hien Luong is the best painful symbol of the national division. Vietnamese soldiers moved to the north and the French and its follower had to move to the south to take the parallel 17t as a temporary boundary for two years until the general election. Nowadays, you can easily imagine the color, flag, loudspeaker as well as artillery through the museum, two-color Bridge, flag tower, loudspeaker, and conjunction house.
- Arriving Hue city

[OPTION 2]: Direct Transfer from Phong Nha to Hue
Driving time approx 4 hours. Our driver will pick you up at your accommodation when you finish the Phong Nha cave discovering tour around 16h30 – 18h00. Or if you want to go to Hue in the morning for a tour there, we can do it.

We had Pho for the private car transfer from Phong Nha to hue then HoiAn guy who spoke great English and was very knowledgable, stopping along the way for the odd photo opportunity and a spot of coffee.
The car was incredibly new, clean, tidy and comfortable.

Our hotel arranged this private car service for us for our journey to Hue. Our driver hung was so friendly, very safe, and he went above and beyond to make sure we saw all the beautiful sights along the Ho chi Minh trail and other places we arranged to see. We never stopped talking and laughing and his English was so good we felt very happy and comfortable with him. We also arranged to have him pick us up the next day for our return journey to the airport and he gave us lots of information and helpful advice. It really was a pleasure to meet him.
We travelled with Hura cars on the 20/09 from Phong Nha to Hue by private car. Phong Nha is a bit difficult to get to and we didn’t fancy the prospect of getting the 4am sleeper bus to Hue so we booked this option and we couldn’t have been happier.
Our driver David is as fantastic!! He let us play our own music in the SUV and stopped for as long as we wanted at Vihn Moc Tunnels and DMZ. The ride was so comfortable and chill, it took 6.5 hours in total including the stops.

We used Hura’s private car transfer services from phong nha to Hue. They arranged a comfortable vehicle to accommodate our bicycles and group of friends. The drivers are safe, patient and helpful. We even asked for a couple of deviations and they never made us feel like a request was too much.

The whole 8 hour experience was extremely easy and comfortable. Our driver Thanh spoke very good English and was very knowledgable of the area. Would defiantly recommend Hura and especially Thanh to anyone who is making the long trip north!
We used Hura for a two part journey, one from Phong Nha to Hue via Vinh Moc tunnels and then a second car for my son later that day from Hue to DaNang airport. On both legs the drivers were on time and courteous. Easy to book via email and small deposit with the rest paid in cash later. Would not hesitate to recommend. P.s.
