  • Pancake Ba Duong

Add: 280/23 Hoang Dieu Street

Banh xeo ba Duong - pancake in danangThis is a single place restaurant so you won’t have a menu. The Banh Xeo (pancake) and Brochettes are absolutely the best I have ever had. The setting is super local and the local are not used to seeing tourists. This is hands down the best restaurants we have been to try. The restaurant is at the END of the little street, so don’t get trapped somewhere else!

Don’t expect English…. Its also very very cheap.

Cuisine: local food

Add: 248 Tran Phu Street, Da Nang, Vietnam

Steak and service is impeccable – you should concur with others on this restaurant. A medium rare cooked steak is a perfect dinner for you. Staffs are friendly and professional. If you are in Danang you have to visit this restaurant. I definitely recommend it !

  • Burger Bros

Add: 18 An Thuong 4, Da Nang

The meat was done perfectly medium Burger Bros– well. The veggies were light and fresh. The bun was warm and toasted and the fries are fried with garlic and onions as well as peppered and ever so caressed with salt. This actually ranks as one of the best burgers I have ever eaten, period. Not even joking. If you are anywhere within a drive of this place it is worth the excursion.

Great concept and runs extremely well. It does however get very busy so don’t hang about or you might find it full or out of food.

Cuisine: Fast Food

  • Taco Ngon

Add: 2 My Da Dong 8 Street

Small menu at an unassuming tiny place in a back alley of Danang, but everything on the menu is done perfectly. We tried each type of meat and each sauce, not one was bad. Also very reasonable at 35000 VND/taco. Very nice concept. Highly recommend.

Cuisine: Mexican, Asian, Fusion, Fast Food, Street Food

  • Citron Restaurant in Son Tra Peninsula

Add:  Inter Continental Resort, Son Tra peninsula

Citron Restaurant in Son Tra Peninsula

The view from Citron on the Intercontinental in Son Tra Peninsula is breathtaking. I reserved a table outside to ensure our view was stellar. There are five outside tables, so if you’d like one, I’d recommend reserving ahead of time if possible. I had afternoon tea here, dinner, and dail
y buffet breakfast.

Tips: make them early and request a Nón Lá table. Nón lá means “conical hat” in Vietnamese and these tables are like inverted conical hats which are found outside and jut out of the restaurant level ever so slightly, giving you an incredible, uninterrupted view of the coast.

Cuisine: Asian, Vietnamese, Vegan Options, Gluten Free Options, Vegetarian Friendly.

motorbike hoi an rentalMotorbike is the most popular choice for young people when traveling in Da Nang. You also rent a scooter to go to Hoi An and explore all tourist sites en route such as My Khe Beach, Marble Mountain, Silk village, Tra Que village. If you don’t know the route, you also move on the same road with the yellow bus.

You can choose 2 options for this way:

  • If you are an experienced biker and have an international license who travels by motorbike, you consider rent a scooter and ride by yourself,  you can book online or book with the local travel agent.  It’s cost around 100.000 vnd/ Scooter,  120.000 vnd/ manual motorbike. If you drive long-distance or wanna explore the Ho Chi Minh trail, you must rent a tour leader, so he can help you to find good places to relax, find the gas station, good road to drive, furthermore, he will help when you have an accident en route.
  • If you can’t ride,  you can choose “xe ôm”, it’s mean when you sit behind the rider,  you have to hug the rider to safe.  🙂 “Xe” in Vietnamese means vehicle,  here is a motorbike,  “Ôm” means hug. If you chose this way to transfer between Da Nang and Hoi An, you have to pay 150.000 – 200.000 vnd. Almost all of Xe Ôm services, can not speak English or a little bit, you must deal with them before going somewhere. We also suggest book with a travel agent and request travel insurance, a good helmet for the worst case that can happen – the accident.

Moving by motorbike is a good idea on sunny. In Vietnam, it’s rain season from Oct to Dec, so we recommend choosing a transfer by car or bus to keep safe and keep dry.

Motorcycling is the best way to explore Viet Nam, but we certainly do not want to bad end, where the bodies of drunken boys and the wrecks of their scooter clog the roads. You must have an International license, which shows that you are qualified to operate a motorcycle in your homeland, and proper travel insurance, which guarantees that any damage the motorcycle does to other vehicles will be paid for and if necessary, the remains of the rider will be repatriated.

There is a mono rail which on a moon light night can be spectacular. Food options are limited and like most parks you really need to walk up!
